Hello everyone!
My name is Dacy Coates and I have been teaching grade 5 here at St. Teresa for 2 years. Before arriving at St.Teresa, I taught at a colony school in Saskatchewan. I grew up in Saskatchewan and received my BEd from the University of Regina.
After university, I packed my bags and moved to England to teach. While there, I met my husband and we decided that Alberta was where we wanted to call home! We have a dog named Floki and 2 cats named April and Bo.
When I’m not teaching, I enjoy spending time with my husband and dog outside or reading a good book. My favourite place to be is the farm back home or the lake!
I wake up every day knowing it is a new day and am always excited to see smiling faces at the door in the morning. I am truly blessed to be a part of your child's growth through these elementary years!
