Matthew Monks-Southwell
Physical Education Teacher
My name is Matthew Monks-Southwell and I've been teaching here at St.Teresa since 2019. I am very blessed to have the continued opportunity to teach Physical Education!
This is my 9th year teaching and I have had the opportunity to teach in several different schools in Red Deer as well as spending two years teaching abroad in London, England. I love to travel the world, especially when I can mix in my passion for teaching with it.
I am happily married to my wife who is also a teacher in Red Deer. We have 2 children and a puppy. Outside of school, we enjoy the outdoors and spending time together as a family. I love to play soccer and golf in my free time!
I love to teach and I am so excited to continue to teach here at St. Teresa!
